A little about me

     First off no discussion about who I am would be complete without first saying a few words about the two greatest people I have ever had the privilege to know. The two people I am speaking of are of course my parents. I know I am biased on this but my parents taught me many wonderful things that have helped me up to this point in my journey and continue to help me. My father taught me that jobs will come and go but to always rely on your ability as that is the one thing no company will ever be able to take from you. My mother on the other hand taught me that life is a journey, the destination is death, and that if we always look at things as some day I will arrive then the only thing we are looking forward to iis death. Instead, she taught me that dreams are the fuel that keeps us moving forward down the journey of life and that we should never give up on our dreams and always reach for the stars but most of all always enjoy the journey along the way.

     Now as for me I have been helping people most of my life, it was always on a much smaller scale than this is but it was always a part of me. From the time I was young I can remember people seeking me out because they were looking for advice. Now before I go any farther understand that I was always a bit uncomfortable about this, as it seemed to me that what I told them could affect the rest of their life. I however never let this stop me from being the supportive always-available person who was there to listen and give advice. As I got older, many people encouraged me to go into a professional capacity with my knowledge but I found that I was always deeply moved by the situations that affected the people I was talking to and knew that I would never be able to handle the emotional input that would be created by working in such a field. I continued on through life and had my share of ups and downs but never really saw a way to use the insights that I had acquired to help the amount of people I wanted to be able to help. Then one night I was surfing the web and came across the ideas that led to the development of this site. I finally had a means to provide insights and support that had not been available to me before.

     Have I made mistakes, just ask my kids I am sure they can tell you of many or you could ask the woman I use to be married to as I am sure she would have many things to say but the important thing was that I never stopped learning and continued to grow and so now today I am finally able to present to you the people who have graciously decided to frequent my site the knowledge, wisdom, and insights that have been a lifetime in obtaining. Hopefully you will go away from here a little bit better than when you arrived. If that happens then I will have been successful in my quest and if I never make a cent from any of this, I will still consider it a success. Now don’t misunderstand I would love for this site to start to generate my needed income, not because I want money but just like you I have bills to pay. However if this site allows me to be free of the job I currently have then it means that I will have more time in which to share with you my loyal readers the wonderful gifts that have been bestowed on me through a lifetime of learning. That would be the greatest of all to be able to spend full time sharing with you. I am still learning, new things everyday and because of that will always have a fresh supply of information and knowledge to share with other people as they go through life. To all of you who I have not met I want to say welcome new friend and to all of you whom I already know from my travels through life I would like to say welcome back.
